　　　　《聘猫记》以“萌宠”为亮点，兼顾甜爱和悬疑。本剧故事围绕南宋临安城内“聘猫馆”展开，老板娘张巧儿幼时就与瓦肆中往来的技艺人学了些训猫技巧，自从开了这猫馆，城中有需要狸奴的人家都会去店里按流程聘猫回家。怎料城中一桩大案将老板娘张巧儿牵扯进去，由此她结识临安府的老实小捕头马青山。                                                                    　　随着案情的深入，张巧儿的另一重身份也慢慢揭开，原来她竟是民间有名的“小贼猫”，也是马青山一直追捕的对象。两人在你追我逃间产生情愫，最终两人一同揪出幕后凶手，并守护了临安城。
